I always try to write at-least two posts per week for my blog. Not always get succeed in it. Then I make excuses with myself. I know I could have written good stuff but I lost my time because I didn’t utilize it well. But also, for writing not only time is what that matters. Sometimes lack of motivation or idea also affects it. Generally, there are two things that writers recommend to others who want to improve: more writing, and reading. More writing is an obvious one, since practice makes perfect. But writing in a vacuum won’t do us much good. Reading exposes us to other styles, other voices, other forms and genres of writing. Importantly, it exposes us to writing that’s better than our own and helps us to improve.
So In this post I’m going to share ‘5 writing Tips’ that might help you in becoming a good writer. But as a disclaimer please note that, I’m not a good writer ;). Sill you can read this post because I have a good experience in handling such situations. So here we go…
1.For writing thinking about the content is most important and it takes a lot of time, the penning down doesn't take a lot of time as you can write more than 500 to 1k words per day. In your case, build up your content in your mind from 9-5 then pen down your content later. Let the Ideas cultivate in your mind for whole day.
2. Commit to only a tiny amount of writing each day. All you need to be successful is that little 60 minutes each day, and those little successes will help you form a habit that will make it easier to "make time" to write each day. Never ever do anything in your committed time for writing.
3. Ignore each and every person who don’t add to your business and do eat into your writing time. It is very necessary to keep your mind empty during your committed time for writing to do well in writing. Also ignore all the negative friends who drag you down because you can’t write well if you lose your self confidence once.
4. Set up your research materials so you can access them easily. You don't want to have to search for information when you're in the middle of writing.
5. Make a promise to yourself that won’t get drawn away from the routine. Don't answer the phone calls also don’t check emails. You may need to discuss your writing needs with those you live with. Ask them to be understanding of your routine and to give you some space when you're working.
Now that you have some tried-and-true tips to become a better writer, get started on making your content process more streamlined. Do spread this post if you liked it. Below I’m sharing links of few posts which are related to this.
